Calm interfaces tend to come from restraint. Fewer competing colors, fewer competing actions, and better hierarchy.
When I get stuck, I simplify the surface: a strong title, a single primary action, and spacing that gives the content room to breathe. Then I add only the details that earn their place.
It is amazing how often a project gets better when you remove the thing that was trying too hard.
